Enrolling With Us
We
enroll children between the ages of 12 months and six years
in our preschool program and between kindergarten and fifth
grade in our school age program. Prospective parents are invited
to visit us for a tour and a full description of our program.
Once the decision is made to enroll your child(ren), and space
is available, we will schedule transition visits. Transition
visits are very important for the successful entry of your
child into our program. Because each child and family situation
varies, transition plans are also variable. We want to make
the best accommodation for you that we can. Visits are equally
important for parents and children, during which parents are
provided an opportunity to become better acquainted with staff
and the other children attending South Whidbey Children's
Center.
Enrollment requires the following: completion
of the registration packet including personal history, health
forms and immunization form. State regulations require that
all children be fully immunized for their age to attend childcare
or to have a signed exemption. This form must be submitted
with enrollment forms prior to attendance.

Waiting List
We often have a waiting list for enrollment at the Children's
Center and advise parents wanting to enroll their children
to place their names on the list as early as possible. We
will need parent's name, child's name and birth date, phone
number and desired schedule to add your child to the list.

We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color,
creed, ethnicity, national origin, socio-economic status,
religion, or differing physical or mental abilities or learning
styles. We strive to include all children in our program and
will do all that we can to make reasonable accommodations
for children with special needs.
